Swiss astrologers and psychologists Bruno and Louise Huber developed the Huber Method while working with Roberto Assagiolo, the founder of psychosynthesis and the school of transpersonal psychology. The Huber Method is based on psychological analysis of the astrological chart and is linked to universal cosmic energies.

Astrological psychologists consider the horoscope a reflection of the soul and provide the most complete understanding of personality. Until the Astrological Psychology Association was established in the United Kingdom in 1983, most English-speaking students had no access to the Huber Method or other educational training resources in astrological psychology. The Astrological Psychological Association continues to be the leading psychologically oriented astrological association in the world.
