For Aristotle, science was the result of a scientist reaching conclusions from what they see. Unlike Parmenides, Aristotle had great faith in doxa, appearances, because perception matched what was being seen. The denial by Parmenides of motion and change was easily refuted by Aristotle because he believed motion and change were seen through the visual observation of the natural world.
